Angela worked in Dunedin libraries for over a decade before shifting to Wellington to complete a multimedia journalism course through Whitireia.
She is a born-and-bred Dunedinite who love stories - reading them, hearing them and writing them. She especially loves writing features and profiles, and believes everyone's story is valuable and deserves to be heard.
Angela is aware there are many wonderful Southern organisations with amazing volunteers doing important work in our communities and is excited to be working with Volunteer South to engage with member organisations, learn more about them and uncover and tell their volunteer stories.
She also appreciates the important role Volunteer South itself plays in creating community connections and is pleased to be using her skills to support it.
