Gillian White

Regional Lead

Born in the UK and having lived, worked and travelled to many far flung places, Gillian is proud to call Wānaka home and has worked for Volunteer South - Central Lakes since its inception in 2011.

She has worked with volunteers for over twenty years in a range of roles including full time volunteering, offender programmes and social service settings. Gillian loves working in this vibrant part of the country with such a range of exciting, meaningful and rewarding opportunities for volunteers to get involved in. She is passionate about everyone being able to volunteer no matter what their background, experience or circumstances. Gillian has volunteered with The Wānaka Trail Ride since 2015 as one of the core organising crew and Volunteer Manager, and in her free time keeps busy by her two children and dog Luna or switching off in front of a good film.
