Kirsty is a a friendly, positive and bubbly Brit who landed in NZ nearly 6 years ago. She has been a keen volunteer since she was a teenager, has worked in a variety of jobs roles in the administration, marketing and education fields and always made the most of where she has lived in the world! Having spent the past 3 years living in Queenstown, Kirsty's sense of belonging in the community was definitely enhanced when she started voluntarily running the Wakatipu Girl Guides in 2016. She has a genuine interest and passion in people and local community so she is really excited about using her skills and energy to help develop Volunteer South. She was the Volunteer Manager for the Biophilia Festival in 2019 and Relay for Life Wanaka in 2021. She has a genuine interest and passion in people and local community and when not working at Volunteer South she is busy running Inspire; Youth Empowerment Programmes for the younger members of our community.
