We are a group of health professionals who, after looking at the mounting evidence in support of universal mask wearing to slow down the spread of Covid-19, have started this community driven initiative to promote the use of cloth masks in busy public places during the Covid-19 pandemic. For masks to be the most effective, we need at least 80% of the population to be wearing them, but even if 50% of us wear one, we can reduce the spread by half. This will be especially important when we come out of lock down
