Oamaru Natural Heritage Society
The Oamaru Natural Heritage Society has begun a new venture in association with the Waitaki branch of Forest & Bird - the Oamaru Public Gardens Community Nursery! This is a wonderful community initiative to collect and grow rare native plants from around the Waitaki district. From here they can be used by other groups for restoration plantings to increase biodiversity!
