Te Tiriti o Waitangi for Volunteer-Involving Organisations

Te Tiriti is about relationships with Tangata Whenua and how to build sustainable relationships can be difficult for organisations that see a lot of transitions through volunteering. Each organisation is different and has different reasons for engaging with tangata whenua. In this workshop, we explore how your organisation can respond appropriately to the needs of Māori clients, volunteers and the wider community. We will have a guest speaker, Julia Rata-Te Raki, our Senior Coordinator in Waitaki, for this workshop.

This workshop is held in the Alexander McMillan Room at Dunedin Community House. Parking is limited around Moray Place and Dunedin Community House does not offer carparks for guests.
