Meals On Wheels Driver

Working Hours



Collect and count meals from collection point. 
Deliver in own car to all addresses on list.  A route is given each day.
Give named meals to specific persons.
Return empty cartons to collection point.


Reliable and trustworthy.
Good oral communication in English.
Good sense of humour.
Interest in older people.
Patience and a good listener.

Own car needed for deliveries. Safe driver. Car must be warranted and registered.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Monday – Friday 11:15am (CBD)
Monday – Friday 11:30am (South Dunedin)
Monday – Friday 12:15pm (Wakari Hospital)
Monday – Friday 11:30am (Green Island)
A meals on Wheels run takes approximately one hour to complete. Includes public holidays. Just one run a month is enough to help!!
