Mature Mentors

We support and encourage independence and the ability to cope with problems. Both men and women over 40 years old are welcome with household management and life skills.

Requirements

• Good oral and written communication.
• Efficient household management/budgeting skills, a good organizer.
• Willing to help and motivate people
• A people person - non-judgmental, with a mature outlook not fazed by hardship, negativity or disability.
• Is interested in sharing life skills and meeting others.
• Sincere, honest, fair, consistent, diplomatic and confidential

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

1-4 hours per week as agreed upon by the volunteer and client.
