Volunteers are key to making community events run smoothly and provide a warm local welcome for many people coming along from outside of our region. We need the assistance of awesome, helpful, energetic and friendly people over the two event days, as well set up and pack down.
Roles are varied and include:
It’s a great way to meet like-minded people as you’ll often be working as part of a team.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet others, and gain satisfaction from helping to deliver this event. Each volunteer will receive a Wheels at Wanaka cap and a two-day pass to the show. We’ll also provide you with shelter, food and drink whilst you’re onsite. You'll get safety and how-to briefings and training where your role requires.
We are looking for people who are reliable, enthusiastic and friendly. Some roles are public facing, others require attention to detail, others physical ability but whatever your skills, get in touch and we'll find a role to suit your interests and abilities.
You don’t need to be into cars, truck or machines to get involved, although if you are we'd love to have you on board!
