Lantern Making Workshop Assistants


Dunedin Midwinter Carnival Trust







The workshops are set up as a series of stations where you will be helping people of all ages.

Great people skills with practical know-how.

We ask that you are available for at least 2 of the workshop days over the 3 weekends.

You need to be able to attend the orientation workshop. However if you are unable to make the set date we will try to work with you to arrange an alternative.

Time commitment

All workshop volunteers will need to be at the locations from 9am to 4:30pm.

Orientation/Training Workshop
Saturday May 22nd and Sunday May 23rd.

Lantern Making Workshop 1 - Mitre 10 Dunedin
Saturday, May 29th and Sunday May 30th

Lantern Making Workshop 2 - Otago Museum
Saturday, June 5th and Sunday June 6th

Lantern Making Workshop 3 - Meridian Mall
Saturday, June 12th and Sunday June 13th

Lantern Making Workshop 4 - Mitre 10 Dunedin
Saturday, June 19th and Sunday June 20th

We ask that you are available for at least 2 of the workshop days over the 4 weekends.
