The Dunedin Midwinter Carnival is produced by Dunedin Midwinter Celebrations, a registered charitable trust based in Dunedin. We believe it is important to celebrate our distinct seasons in a way that is appropriate to our local environment.
We are looking for volunteers to help families through the exciting process of creating lanterns prior to the festival date. The workshops are set up as a series of stations where you will be helping people of all ages.
Great people skills with practical know-how.
We ask that you are available for at least 2 of the workshop days over the 4 weekends.
You need to be able to attend the orientation workshop and an induction. However if you are unable to make the set date we will try to work with you to arrange an alternative.
All workshop volunteers will need to be at the locations from 9am to 4:30pm.
Orientation Date: 4th and 5th of June
Location: Meridian Mall
Workshop Dates:
11th and 12th June
18th and 19th June
25th and 26th June
2nd and 3rd July
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
