The Dunedin Parents Centre needs a friendly, welcoming person to be our next playgroup leader. You will be responsible for opening and closing the playgroup, choosing toys for the kids to play with and making sure the area is clean & tidy at the end. Parents stay with their children while at playgroup and this is more of a social/coffee group where all the children can play together.

We are looking for a leader for each class so take your pick. These playgroups are for under 5 year olds, maybe you have a child that can attend playgroup with you? We'd need you to arrive 15min early to open up, gets toys out for the children to play with, put a shared morning tea out for the children (food provided by parents) and make sure the rooms are clean and tidy before you lock up. We encourage all playgroup uses to help out with morning tea & clean up so you wouldn't be doing it all yourself. We are open to the Dunedin Community so we'd like you to welcome any new families that attend playgroup and show them around so they feel at home.
