Unit meetings run for up to 2 hours once a week during the school terms, with opportunities for other planned activities on the occasional weekend.

Training will be provided on how to run a unit and how to plan for a unit meeting. There is also additional training available for things such as camping.


Enjoy spending time with girls and young women aged 5 - 17years.

Love being a part of the fun and activities with children
Include the children in the planning of activities
Build lasting relationships with the children, families, other leaders and volunteers
Be open to learning and developing yourself
Love meeting new people, making new friends and connections
Be keen to have fun, and provide positive experiences for the children

Interviews will be conducted and volunteers need 2 written character references. Own transport required. All expenses will be reimbursed
