Work with the Office Manager to:
a) prepare monthly financial statements and present them to monthly Committee meetings;
b) ensure that a schedule of accounts payable is presented to the Committee and authorised for payment on time, and in line with the Society’s policies;
c) ensure that end-of-year financial statements are prepared in in a timely manner for audit and presentation at the AGM.
Basic accounts skills / Bookkeeping skills and knowledge / Computer skills / experience with MYOB or similar accounting software (ie XERO, Money works etc.,)
Training will be provided if necessary.
Volunteers will need references from previous employers or organisations they have previously assisted. Reimbursement for out of pocket expenses can be negotiated.
Committee meetings are held monthly.
