Plunket Home Help Service Volunteer

Royal NZ Plunket Trust

Practical Help

The Home Help service is looking for volunteers to work alongside families and parent's that are in need of support.
We offer practical support to families with preschool-aged children by connecting our volunteers with families to assist them with a number of different household tasks. This can include, but is not limited to: Accompanying families to appointments, vacuuming, hanging/folding washing, and advice around household management, and routines. Every family is different, therefore the tasks can vary depending on what support is needed or wanted by each individual family. Many families appreciate the adult company and support to take the pressure off their busy lives / households.

This is a great way to give back to the community and make a real difference for families.

"Our volunteers are special people who make a real difference for families".
