Volunteer Retail Assistant

Working Hours



Customer service, sorting and pricing donations, operating the till with cash handling, organizing stock, cleaning the shop and having fun!


A positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Reliability, honesty and a sense of humour.
Retail experience, customer service, knowledge or interest with clothing, textile interest, are all helpful, but not necessary.

Dress Code: Tidy but comfortable dress. Aprons and vests are provided. You may even find some treasures to buy within the shop!

Initial orientation and training provided. Opportunities arise from time to time for further training.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

If there is space on a shift, you can start straight away!

South Shop morning shift is 10am - 1pm and afternoon shift is 1pm - 4pm.

North Shop morning shift is 9.30am - 1pm and afternoon shift is 1pm - 4.30pm
