The Home of St. Barnabas has been providing meals on wheels in Mosgiel and Dunedin residents since 2016. Our meal service is demand driven and we are a not for profit service. In Dunedin, this service began in 1999 when members of the local parish were sick and needed a hot meal.

Our meals are prepared fresh each day onsite at 12 Ings Ave and were possible we use as much fresh produce from local suppliers as we can.


  • Full, clean drivers licence
  • Police vetting
  • Able to relate to older people

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Area 1) Mosgiel on a Wednesday pick up meals in Mosgiel 11.40am meals run should take no more that 30 - 40 minutes
Area 2) St. Kilda on a Tuesday. Pick up from us here at 12 Ings Ave 11.45. Meal runs would take between 30 and 40 minutes
