Cromwell Bike Park has been established by a volunteer trust of individuals in Cromwell who are passionate about enabling everyone to enjoy a range of biking activities in Cromwell. Since opening it relies on volunteers to maintain the tracks and surrounding area and to enable people to continue to enjoy all the park has to offer. The Cromwell Bike Park can be found at the corner of Neplusultra, Achil and Ortive streets.
Volunteers are required to maintain the landscaped areas of mounds planted in tussock which need weeding on regular basis. Also sweeping of asphalt 'learn-to-ride' track to keep it clear of tree debris and any other potential hazards for young riders. Weeds may need to be loosened with a garden fork before being pulled out and left in a tidy pile for collection.
