If you're looking for a volunteer role that gives back to the community, creating warmer homes, but also gives you the ability to make great friends, experience in the not-for-profit sector and practice your sewing/curtain skills, then this is the role for you!

The job entails you to be accurate at measuring and recording the measurements and folding the curtains accurately, general sorting and unknotting curtains, creating our healthy home packs that go out with each order, cleaning and tidiness of the Curtain Bank in general as well as other assorted tasks.

Requirements

No specific skills or qualifications needed.
Would best suit someone with:

  • Loads of initiative
  • Being proactive and organised
  • A friendly, empathetic, can-do attitude.

Training for this role comes with measuring and recording the measurements accurately, how to fold and how to process our curtains. etc.
This position could also come with the responsibility of order picking for our referrals.

Time commitment

9-3pm Monday and Tuesdays.
Monday is essential. Tuesday or Wednesday if needs be.
