Op Shop Retail Shop Assistant

Organisation:

Presbyterian Support Otago

Category:

Retail

Hours:

Both/Flexible

Locations:

We need retail assistants to work at one of our busy op shops, interacting with customers, staff and volunteers while working in the retail shop or warehouse. It's a great role where you can do a variety of tasks. You'll be pricing goods, helping with displays, stocking shelves, serving customers, keeping the shop clean and tidy. Or work in the shop warehouse, pricing and sorting incoming goods.

Profits from Shop On sales go back into the Otago community, helping to support the various Family Works services and programmes we offer. Sale items are placed out in the shop for customers to purchase for a set amount of time before staff and volunteers have the opportunity to make a purchase.

If you are enthusiastic, creative and love helping people find what they're looking for then we'd love to hear from you. This is a dynamic working environment where no two days are the same. You'll receive full training and will always be working with another person.

We hope volunteers will enjoy the role and gain experience working in a team, developing social skills, retail experience, and satisfaction contributing to the community and Presbyterian Support Otago.
