Children's Day event volunteers

Royal NZ Plunket Trust

Children's Day (Potentially 27th March 2022) is a community event at Forsyth Barr stadium aimed at providing a fun day out for families and whanau with tamariki under 5 years old. The event is a gold coin donation entry, and then all activities after entry are free. We will have craft making, balloon twisting, children's entertainers, food and more. Coffee will be available for purchase.
Volunteer duties include helping prepare the food, engaging families at the Plunket activities, helping set up tables, gates and chairs for the event and packing up at the end.
This event would be suitable for anyone and we welcome all applicants.

Volunteers will need to wear closed toe shoes and bring along a water bottle, as well as sun protection if desired. Sunscreen, Plunket T-shirts, and food will be provided.

Time commitment

The event will be 10am - 1pm, but we are looking for volunteers to be available from 8.30am - 2pm, to help with set up and packing up.
