Korean Language Tutor

The role is to teach Hangeul 한글 and basic conversation to a group of English speaking beginners or to facilitate a smaller size of conversation group. The tutor is expected to speak both Korean and English in a culturally acceptable manner. You will be working with three other Korean-Kiwi teachers as a team. We meet each Friday evening at the Community House.

This is a voluntary role but will be supported with the society's "Looking after Volunteers" programme which offers petrol or grocery voucher of $20-40 per hour of service.

This role opens a great opportunity for you to improve teaching skills in a community setting with Korean language learners who have a variety of cultural and ethnic background.
