Dunedin Night Shelter want to start a working party/ think tank consisting of people who can make things happen. Knowledge of social media and marketing would be a great start as well as a can do attitude. This group will be working on advertising the night shelter to people who need the service not only in Otago but around the country, fundraising for big and small projects as well as raising awareness of homelessness and poverty so as to make change local and nationally.


  • Good knowledge of social media/marketing.
  • To be able to think outside the box.
  • To be able to support homeless people while at the same time work on the bigger issues.
  • To be able to follow through.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Monthly or fortnightly meeting.
