A Volunteer Van Driver is required short term approximately 6 months.
9-10am and 3-4pm on Tuesday,
9-10am on Wednesdays
The volunteer will drive up to 7 older people from their homes to Club Enliven and collecting them from Club Enliven and take them home at the end of the day. Volunteers will have the opportunity to be active, engage with older people and develop new friendships.
Social engagement and meaningful activity are essential to a healthy, happy life, no matter what your age. Club Enliven is for people over 65 years and offers a range of social activities including discussions, presentations from guest speakers, singing and music, craft, outings, cooking and meals. Many of our members are no longer able to drive and rely on volunteer drivers to assist them in getting to and from Club Enliven.

Volunteers are required to have a full clean drivers licence. Experience driving a van is preferrable however training will be given. Additionally volunteers should be friendly and reliable, have a caring and respectful attitude, be happy to chat to older people and be fully respectful of confidentiality.
Volunteers are needed between 9-10am and 3-4pm on Tuesday and between 9-10am on a Wednesday. People can volunteer for one or more shifts as they wish.
To be eligible for this role, you need to be able to commit to a minimum of 6 months volunteering service or longer
