Social Media Assistant

Youthline Southland is a youth Development organisation, their work is community focussed and aims to nurture mental wellness in young people and to prevent and reduce the occurrences and community harms of suicide.

Social Media Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Assist in the development of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.


Some knowledge of Facebook Business Suite and engagement/management tools.

Be advised you will collaborate with the Development Manager and the Social Media Coordinator to create social media content & a calendar. Also in order to further assist you in the role some training, guidance and full support will be provided.

Time commitment

Flexible time. Hours to be discussed according to availability. However, a few hours per week would be appreciated.
