Computer Savy

Menzshed Invercargill

The MenzShed is a great place to bring men together in one community space to share their skills, be these new skills or old skills, to learn practical tasks and a chance to foster new friendships within a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
There is a range of ages and abilities of men attending the MenzShed from the young to the older person as we believe everyone has some skills and abilities to share with other like minded people.
Men are encouraged to enjoy a laugh while working on practical tasks individually be that a personal project or as a group on Community projects.

This role would ideally suit someone who has a background in building or who has had some woodworking experience. Quotes are required for individual jobs or for community projects and so a person who is computer savy (as well as having building/joinery skills) could work alongside the Operations Manager thus enabling a more efficient system for information and quotes for all concerned.
An induction and support will be provided.
There are no age restrictions so if you are happy to help others then they would love to hear from you.

Time commitment

Volunteers are welcome to help on any of the following days. You don't have to commit to all sessions every week.
