Daffodil Day 2022 Oamaru Area Co-ordinator


Cancer Society Otago - Southland







Work in partnership with the Cancer Society (including local staff) and existing volunteers
Organise collection sites
Manage monies received (collection buckets/pre-sales/counter boxes)
Manage resources and merchandise
Submit reports in a timely fashion
To identify new opportunities in the local community
To attend the Daffodil Day debrief/planning meetings where applicable


Good communication skills
Ability to coordinate a team

All volunteering roles will be conducted under Cancer Society Covid -19 guidelines, following advice from the Ministry of Health and the NZ Government.
Cancer Society Staff will advise you of the guidelines that are in place at the time of your engagement.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

1 hour a week in lead up from November 21- May 22 Further hours 2-4 hours a week may be required from June, leading up to our appeal on Friday the 26th of August 2022
