Volunteer with the Dunedin Fringe Festival 2022

Organisation:

Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust

Category:

Music & Entertainment

Hours:

Both/Flexible

Locations:

Dunedin

The Dunedin Fringe is an experimental, boundary-breaking festival, and we welcome one and all, endeavouring to build a programme with something for everyone. The Dunedin Fringe is a big machine with a lot of moving parts, and vital to this ecosystem are the volunteers who generously bless us with their talent and care, devoting their time and energy every year to the success of the festival.

We even won an award for our volunteer programme at the 2021 Dunedin Volunteer Awards!

Be a part of a thriving creative arts scene, watch the city come alive, make friends and connections to last a lifetime, get experience, and get empowered to do your own creative work! Our volunteer coordinator is also happy to provide references to those who want them, or to be a referee for the future.

While the bulk of volunteer roles are during the festival in March, there are several events leading up to the festival that require your help, such as the Programme Launch on the 9th of February, distribution of guides and posters to help promote the festival, and market days such as Thieves Alley.

Requirements

No experience is required, and any training one might need for a role will be provided by us. Additionally, if you feel you have experience that would be a great benefit to the festival, let us know and we may be able to find a unique role/position for you!
