NZ House & Garden Tour Supervisor - Wānaka

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ's mission is to prevent New Zealanders developing and dying of breast cancer and to support patients. They do this through raising awareness for early detection; funding medical research, training and equipment; supporting patients with their helpline, counselling and rehabilitation; and advocating to the government for world-class treatments and care.

Taking place in March and April, the NZ House & Garden Tours provide people with the opportunity to step inside the pages of their favourite magazine for a day of indulgence, visiting exquisite homes and gardens, all in support of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

They need fantastic supervisors willing to look after a team of volunteers at the NZ House & Garden Tours in Wānaka in 2022! Together with a team of volunteers, you will be stationed at one of the houses or at the hub, helping manage the flow of people, car parking and looking after the houses. The supervisor role will be the assigned point of contact for the location in their care.

Volunteer should be friendly, reliable, and happy to lead a team. Volunteers will need to be fully vaccinated for this event.

We hope volunteers will enjoy developing their leadership and organisational skills, meeting others, raising vital funds and being part of this awesome event. To say thank you for supervising, volunteers will be given a ticket for the day you are not volunteering so you can enjoy the tour!

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
