NZ House & Garden Tour Volunteer - Wānaka

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ's mission is to prevent New Zealanders developing and dying of breast cancer and to support patients. They do this through raising awareness for early detection; funding medical research, training and equipment; supporting patients with their helpline, counselling and rehabilitation; and advocating to the government for world-class treatments and care.

Taking place in March and April, the NZ House & Garden Tours provide people with the opportunity to step inside the pages of their favourite magazine for a day of indulgence, visiting exquisite homes and gardens, all in support of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

They need wonderful volunteers for the NZ House & Garden tours in Wānaka in 2022! As a volunteer, you’ll be stationed either at the tour hub or at one of the houses on the tour – checking wristbands, assisting with parking and ensuring that the tour-goers are being respectful as they make their way through the homes.

Volunteers should be friendly, reliable and able to stand for the duration of a half-day or full-day shift. Volunteers will need to be fully vaccinated for this event. We hope volunteers will enjoy being part of a great team, gain satisfaction from helping raise funds and enjoy the buzz from being involved in this fabulous event. To say thanks for volunteering, you'll be able to spend your shift at one of the incredible locations on the tour, be given a 10% discount on your tour ticket (if purchased before December 31), and a goodie bag from the tour sponsors.

Time commitment

Volunteers can select a morning, afternoon or full-day shift. Morning shifts run from 8:30am-4:30pm, afternoon shifts from 12:15pm to 4:15pm and full-day shifts from 8:30am-4:15pm.
