The Globe Theatre Dunedin







The Globe Theatre is a community theatre which run by The Friends of the Globe Theatre. The Friends of the Globe are also the owners of both the theatre building and the house which is attached to it. Its aim to provide an annual season of quality community theatre to Dunedin, and has been operating since 1961. It is run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

The role is one of which you may get called on in to help the stage manager run the shows through out the year. A role of stage crew is to keep the set up to make sure actors are in positions and they are the eyes and ears for the show background crew.


Able to take orders and give them politely, work nights on the shows season (running day) , Be able to communicate clearly, to commit to one year on the call sheet as back up.

Time commitment

One year on the list but flexible hours depending on the need of the theatre (minimum of 30 hours per show)
