Central Lakes and Invercargill casual volunteer opportunties

How does it work?

• You sign up for the role.
• We receive a request from an organisation needing extra support with volunteers.
• We send an email to you advising of the role and what to do if you want to be a part.
• You say yes or no.
• You volunteer - or don't! It fits in with your time so you don't have to make a commitment beyond what you're capable of!

Regular volunteer opportunities that frequently require additional support are:

• Street appeals
• Events
• Emergency volunteering
• One-off projects
• Extra support for big community projects/events e.g. tree planting down the peninsula or beach clean-up

We will also send you a monthly newsletter of organisations actively seeking volunteers - a mixture of ongoing and one off roles.

Requirements

You should be happy receiving a monthly update from us, plus short notice roles as they arise. Please note that the organisations seeking volunteers may need some additional information from you, depending on the role and their own volunteer processes.

Time commitment

When you are able to volunteer - you say yes! Easy!
