Sustainable Queenstown is an independent, not-for-profit charitable trust formed in 2018 with the vision of being a go-to sustainable heart in the Queenstown Lakes which celebrates, activates and educates our community every day.
We share passion for our place and to create positive environmental change. Our team wakes up to inspire and celebrate ideas that enable our community to enjoy a more sustainable place to live, work and play.
We do this through our monthly Green Drinks events, collaborating with others in our community, spearheading initiatives to reduce waste, working with local businesses to take positive climate action and identifying gaps we can fill with support, awareness, connection and education.
There is an opportunity for us to expand our board of trustees and we need experienced, passionate locals who want to make a real difference in our community.
We embrace diversity and are committed to an inclusive and respectful organisation where everyone is valued for their unique contribution. We do not discriminate against any trustee, contractor, volunteer or applicant because of colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age.
