The Halo Project, Source to Sea team, invites the community to help restore the environment. Its mission is to inspire and work with communities to enhance, protect and connect with the landscape. Last year, with the help of volunteers, they planted 32,000 native seedlings on the 9 hectare reserve and are now planning to in-fill 7000 plants this planting season.
They have a variety of tasks at their planting days including:

  • digging
  • planting
  • folding cardboard guards

There is something for all interests and abilities. Past volunteers have gained memorable experiences and connections with the landscape and community, while helping the environment to thrive. Tea and coffee will be provided. If the event is rained off, it will be postponed to Tuesday 16th May.

  • Please bring warm clothes and something to drink, as well as sun protection.
  • Please RSVP to be notified should the event be cancelled due to rain.
