Coordinator - Success Suits You

Success Suits You is a non-profit organisation that aims to empower people by providing them with professional attire, career development tools, and a supportive network. Success Suits You recently opened a Central Dunedin space where they provide, not only professional attire, but job search assistance, interview coaching, and a variety of other services designed to help you thrive in the workplace. By providing people with the resources needed to achieve their goals, Success Suits You is helping to create a more equitable and just society.

Success Suits You is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join their team as a Coordinator. As the Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Success Suits You program, which provides professional attire and career development advice and tools to individuals in need.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory of professional attire and accessories, ensuring that the Success Suits You boutique is well-stocked and organized.
  • Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to provide wardrobe advice and help them select appropriate attire for job interviews and other professional settings.
  • Develop and deliver workshops on topics such as interview skills, resume writing, and professional etiquette.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including local businesses and organizations, to increase awareness of Success Suits You and expand their reach.
  • Maintain accurate records of program activities and client interactions and provide regular reports to management.

Work with the team to create a more equitable and just society, by helping individuals in need to grow in confidence and achieve a successful career life by looking and feeling their best.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or social services setting.
  • Passion for Success Suits You's mission and a commitment to empowering people.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

10 hours per week. They are happy to tailor these hours to suit the successful applicant.
