Interview Expert (Home-based Role)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of rural and isolated youth and adults?

The Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust (RYALT) is looking for a dedicated volunteer to help with volunteer interviews, referee checks and exit interviews for their volunteers.

RYALT provide free, one-on-one reading and writing coaching to those who don’t have access to a main Literacy Centre, and your role will be vital in maintaining the quality and integrity of our volunteer team.

In this role, you will:

  • conduct referee checks on new volunteers
  • interview new potential Literacy Coaches
  • perform exit interviews
  • then report your findings back to the Volunteer Coordinator.

Your contribution will play a key part in maintaining the quality of RYALT’s team and gathering important insights from outgoing volunteers.
Additionally, if you're interested, you can also join their Outbound Contact Centre team, making calls to various organisations to spread the word about RYALT’s services.

All calls are made using our free internet app (VOIP) from your home computer or mobile phone, with no cost to you. You will be provided with all the tools you need, including a call script, training, and ongoing support from your Community Support Coordinator. A computer and internet access are required to enter your comments into a spreadsheet, but they will take care of the rest.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • make a meaningful impact from the comfort of your home
  • build experience in administration and communication.
  • be part of the team empowering others through literacy!

Requirements
