The Dunedin Gasworks Museum is a small industrial history museum based on the site of New Zealand's oldest gasworks, in South Dunedin.
It is one of only three known preserved gasworks museums in the world, and is a significant local and world heritage site.
They have a magnificent collections of Edwardian era steam pumping engines. On steaming days, you will be there to help the Boiler Operator make sure that everything is running smoothly.
