Volunteering with BCD involves individuals assisting attendees with disabilities to participate in martial art classes.
Volunteers at BCD can help by encouraging and supporting attendees to engage, listen, assist them with physical stretching, punching and other games which are played at classes.
Having martial arts experience is ideal but not essential.
Ability to be patient and listen to attendees.
Some understanding of physical and intellectual disabilities - but this is not essential.
