Lawn Management & General Maintenance

Dunedin RDA is one of 50 Riding for Disabled groups around New Zealand. They are affiliated with the New Zealand Riding for Disabled Association. Their mission is to provide confidence, independence and well-being for people with disabilities through therapeutic horse riding and horse care. The Dunedin Group RDA (DRDA) was established in 1973. They now have our own land in Fairfield, Dunedin.

As a Lawn Management and General Maintenance person you will be:

  • Weed whacking around riding area, banks, driveway and small lawn
  • Pulling weeds out from around the buildings
  • Keeping things looking tidy and beautiful!
  • Accessing the tool-shed (building tool supply up as required)
  • Using the battery powered Push Mower and good with a ladder - to check the rooves
  • Doing varied Jobs - bits and pieces - and perhaps a little bit of painting, so they need someone who is self-directed
    ( Looking around to see how to make things look better and then getting into it)

Requirements

  • Experience with a weed whacker and mower
  • Happy to take initiative
  • Enjoy spending time outdoors
  • Long pants and well covered shoes
