New Zealand Red Cross mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilising the power of humanity and enhancing community resilience. The Red Cross Fundamental Principles guide all that they do, whether they're helping people in New Zealand communities or providing urgent relief in an International disaster.
The Invercargill Team are looking for 1 or 2 people to help service and prepare donated bikes. The bikes will then be given to former refugees arriving in the city. These bikes make a huge impact on the families' ability to get around town.
This is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of others.
We have a workshop onsite at our Dee St service centre.
Hours are flexible to suit.
Bike maintenances skills.
A Police background check is required for this role.
