Do you have a few regular hours available between 9.00am and 4.00pm during the week?
Ōtepoti Dunedin Whānau Refuge is looking for practical, community-minded volunteers to join their Donations Team and help support wāhine, tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau experiencing family violence.
What might volunteering involve?
Why is this important?
Every donated item that comes through our doors helps create safety, dignity, comfort, and hope for whānau rebuilding their lives. Whether it's sorting clothing, preparing household items, or helping collect donations from the community, your contribution directly supports those who need it most.
Whether you can offer a couple of hours each week or a regular half-day, they would love to hear from you.
If you are motivated to contribute meaningfully to a busy vital community service, this role offers a valuable opportunity to make a positive impact.
A Police background check is required for this role.
1–2 (or more) hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm.
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
