The Whakatipu Wildlife Trust (WWT) is on a mission to create and maintain a predator-free environment, allowing New Zealand’s native birds and wildlife to thrive. To achieve this vision, the Trust relies on dedicated volunteers who manage traplines across the basin. With over 3,000 traps distributed among 72 community groups, the Trust is currently seeking "Trapline Coordinator Superstars" for the following regions:
The Role:
As a Trapline Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our mission. Your responsibilities will include:
Worried about the technicalities? No problem! Comprehensive training is provided to ensure all coordinators are equipped with the technical skills and knowledge to excel in this role. The best part is, you'll only need to commit 1-2 hours per fortnight, making it an easily manageable and incredibly rewarding opportunity to contribute to the cause.
