Keep Alexandra Clyde Beautiful welcomes you to join them this autumn to help with their programme of planting to enhance local reserves for people’s enjoyment, and to feed/shelter our birds and lizards.

They have 3 planting projects this Autumn...
🌿 Shaky Bridge Reserve (just over Shaky Bridge) - Sunday 3 May, 10:30am-12:30pm - this is their biggest planting of the year. Over 100 native plants to extend their previous 4 years of planting, going further up the gully. Morning tea provided by Four Square.

🌿Manuherikia River Bank - Sunday 24th May, 1-3pm - Joe and Jo are continuing their native planting on the true left of the Manuherikia below the rail trail bridge. They have over 60 trees of various species to plant on. Given the likelihood of a frost they will meet at 1pm at 12 Lookout Drive and walk down to the river.

🌿 Lookout Reserve (just over the Old Rail Bridge between Little Valley Road and Lookout Drive) - Sunday 14 June 1-3pm - KACB have been planting native plants here for the last 10 years. They are extending the tussock bank they did last year with a further 100 tussocks.
