Founded 48 years ago the Inner Wheel Club of Queenstown is part of the largest women's service organisation in the world. Connecting and empowering women, they bring together women of all ages who want to build friendships and social connections, support local and global causes that make a difference, and have fun while giving back to their community.

Over the past 10 years they have raised $95,000 and supported over 20 local community organisations with their funds.

Their hands-on community service activities include:

  • Meals on Wheels deliveries.
  • Working at CanShop Queenstown (Cancer Society).
  • The annual collections for Community Hospice, Heart Foundation and the Cancer Society.
  • Road marshalling at the Queenstown Marathon.

They engage members in friendship and fun with monthly meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of the month with speakers, Friendship drinks on the 1st Thursday of the month, Movie groups and Saturday morning walks to different parts of the Whakatipu followed by coffee.

Inner Wheel Club of Queenstown welcome women of all ages to join their club. You will meet inspiring women, share skills and stories. If you are new to the Queenstown district this is a wonderful way to connect to the community with the opportunity to give back to the Queenstown/Whakatipu community.
