Dunedin Curtain Bank up-cycles unwanted and unused curtains, lines them, and distributes them to those in need in our community. As part of this mahi they also accept donations of curtain tracks, and also provide these free of charge, if people need a curtain track in order to hang their curtains.

Do you know your way around curtain tracks and their fittings? If so Dunedin Curtain Bank needs your help sorting and preparing curtain tracks for their clients.

The role involves selecting appropriate curtain tracks, ensuring that they have the appropriate fittings, and cutting them down to size if required.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of how basic curtain tracks go together
  • Physically able, as the role does involve some cutting down of curtain tracks to the right measurements.
  • Dunedin Curtain Bank is located up the stairs at Level 1, 174 Princes St.

Time commitment

  • 1-2 hours weekly, preferably sometime Monday- Wednesday 10am-3pm, but there is some flexibility around these hours if needed.
