Predator Free Wanaka are on a mission to eliminate introduced predators and restore local ecosystems. Their goal is to see thriving native wildlife in the Upper Clutha, seeing more tūī, kārearea, grebes, geckos & skinks. As a 100% volunteer-driven, community-led organisation, they are united by a shared commitment to helping native wildlife flourish. Their dedicated team of over 140 volunteers contribute their time and effort to targeting introduced predators, setting and monitoring traps, and raising awareness within the community.
