Central Motor Speedway
Central Motor Speedway (CMS) sits nestled in the Cromwell basin which is deemed 'Motorsport Central'. A not-for-profit community asset it provides Central Otago with the 'fastest family show on earth' set in an amazing natural amphitheater. It is a safe, family friendly speedway entertainment venue. Run by a dedicated committee and helped out by volunteers, CMS actively encourages involvement and participation from youth and adults. CMS provides summer speedway fun (motorsport opportunities and entertainment) with approx 10 events per season (Sept - May) with a fun, friendly atmosphere no job too big or too small. CMS is affiliated with Speedway New Zealand which is our governing body and is a high affirmed track within NZ.
