Central Motor Speedway have an exciting season of racing from September to April. Volunteers are essential in ensuring the race events run smoothly and that the community is able to get together to enjoy a sport they are passionate about in a safe manner.

As a part of the crash support crew you will:

  • help with vehicle retrieval if needed
  • be an extra set of hands to help paramedics in case of an emergency.
  • receive full training on best practices in an emergency
  • respectfully follow directions from professional paramedics

Requirements

  • Basic first aid and safety knowledge is useful but not required
  • Ability to drive retrieval vehicle- experience with towing with a winch
  • Remain calm and focused if an accident occurs

Time commitment

  • Seasonal Commitment preferred from September to April, but negotiable.
  • Might be required to attend a training session prior to the event
  • You will be required from 2pm onwards on the day of the event.

Volunteer South's office is closed from Friday 20th December until Monday January 6th. Many organisations listing roles online will also be taking a break. During this time your requests to connect will go through, however there may be some delay in you hearing from the organisations you select.
