Charlotte Barker

Board Intern

A Dunedin Local, our Board Intern Charlotte is relatively new to the organisation but is quickly learning how she can help Volunteer South grow. Charlotte has worked in various volunteering roles in Dunedin, and was motivated by her experiences to encourage others to volunteer. She wants to help engage young people in volunteering and show them the benefits and growth that volunteering can provide. Charlotte is in her third year studying a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Otago, and when she is not studying she enjoys seeing her friends and going for walks, as well as working part time at a Dunedin restaurant. It's great having Charlotte on the board and sharing a younger person's perspective on the volunteer experience.
