Originally from the UK, Nigel has lived in Otago for the last 10 years, initially in Alexandra before moving to Dunedin.
Living with his wife and daughter in Otago provided the opportunity to volunteer and he joined not-for-profit boards. In the past he has been Chair of Alexandra & District Youth Trust and also Swimming Otago, and the President of Alexandra Swimming Club.
As a Senior Commercial Manager he utilises his corporate skills within his voluntary work, when not working he likes to explore Otago with his dog Archie a Border Terrier.
