Paula Clark is a well-known and much-loved member of the community who always puts others first.
She is the manager of the Central Otago Does — the region's women's rugby team that competes in the Otago-wide competition. Paula was instrumental in getting the team off the ground four years ago and continues to be its driving force. She volunteers her time to cook dinner for the team every Monday night, washes the jerseys for three local teams, and organizes transport, sponsorship, and support. She travels with the team and makes sure everyone is well-fed, happy, and healthy, enabling them to continue playing the sport they love.
In addition to her rugby commitments, Paula also dedicates countless hours to the Cromwell Sports Club — a local community hub that hosts rugby games, events, and much more. She helps with cleaning, stocking, working behind the bar, and managing bookings, always going above and beyond expectations.
Paula’s commitment and selflessness make her a true asset to the community.
